Therapy at Anchored Hope is highly tailored to each client coming through our virtual and actual door! Right from the start, our intake process focuses on asking questions to find the right clinician to meet your needs. We do not just set you up with any therapist with an opening. We believe a strong therapeutic relationship with a skilled provider, who sees clients through a holistic, anti-oppressive, trauma-informed lens, matters.
Your life experiences, your current struggles, and your hopes/goals for therapy are important factors in matching you with a provider who will work with you on your journey.

During Your First Visit
Your initial appointment will include a review of your signed electronic consents and your new client background form. These documents will be sent to you during your phone consultation when scheduling your initial appointment.
The first appointment is called the “Diagnostic Evaluation'' - this appointment includes meeting your therapist and discussing what brings you to therapy. Your provider will address any questions you may have during this session. In addition, you will identify and discuss your treatment goals for future sessions. Diagnostic Evaluations are 50-60 minutes.
For any minor attending their first appointment - parents are required to be present for this session.
Your provider will individualize the time, intensity, and frequency of therapy sessions to fit your needs. Talk to your therapist further about your scheduling needs.
