Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is focused on building a strong therapeutic alliance between the client and therapist. Individual therapy focuses on exploring identified goals, often explores past experiences, and supports individuals in grounding themselves in hope for the future.

Traditional Approaches

Traditional therapy or “talk therapy” is often referred to as “psychotherapy”. This type of work takes a “top down” approach to treatment and focuses on identifying and changing maladaptive thoughts, feelings and behaviors.

Integrative Trauma Therapy

An integrative approach to trauma utilizes what we refer to as a “bottom up approach” in therapy. “Top down” refers to accessing thoughts to address symptoms; however a bottom up approach utilizes somatic memories stored in the body to heal symptoms of trauma.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

DBT is an evidence based treatment model used to treat emotional dysregulation, relational challenges, stress tolerance, and difficulty focusing. We approach DBT treatment through an assessment and motivational interviewing lens, rather than using the DBT model in its entirety.

Ecotherapy

A non-traditional approach that harnesses the positive benefits of connecting with nature, promoting healing and a deep connection to ourselves.

Expressive Art Therapy

Expressive art therapy integrates traditional talk therapy with arts-based interventions to promote healing and can be used in the recovery of trauma symptoms.

Music Therapy

A clinical & evidence-based practice that aims to help one process, change or grow through musical experiences like songwriting, instrument play, movement, and more.
