Yolanda Robinson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C). She is a Maryland Board Certified Supervisor for Social Workers and Professional Counselors. Yolanda obtained her undergraduate degree in English Literature from UM-Global Campus and her Master’s in Social Work from New York University. Yolanda has also obtained a Doctorate in Social Work and Leadership from the University of Tennessee with a Capstone in Assessing the Unmet Needs of US Active-Duty Air Force Social Workers. Yolanda has focused her career on supporting both professionals and clients through mental health challenges including Borderline Personality Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, Anxiety and ADHD. She integrates trauma-informed practices through a holistic lens to address the individual needs of her clients.
Yolanda is trained in a variety of therapeutic interventions including DBT, TF-CBT, Narrative Therapy, ACT and analysis and tailors each intervention to the individual. She also works with families and couples who are experiencing challenges including communication, infidelity, trauma, and military movement. Yolanda works with the L.G.B.T.Q.I.A.+ community and actively collaborates with other providers to allow for seamless continuity of care. She has extensive experience treating military families and members of law enforcement. Above all else Yolanda believes in creating a safe, inclusive space to discuss any challenge her clients may be experiencing.
