Erika Keller is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC). She obtained her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University Maryland University College and her Master of Science in Marriage, Family Therapy from Walden University. Erika brings with her experience from both inpatient psychiatric care and outpatient mental health settings.
Erika has experience working with young children, adolescents, adults and families. She has worked with clients presenting with symptoms of depression and anxiety as well as a history of addiction, those who are experiencing grief, engaging in self-harm, and dealing with low self-esteem. Erika takes pride in building strong therapeutic relationships with her clients and strives to support them towards the development of healthy coping skills and self-awareness so they can address whatever obstacle they are working to overcome.
Erika utilizes several therapeutic approaches in her work with clients including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Person Centered Therapy and Marriage and Family Therapy. Erika aims to meet each client where they are to help them achieve their therapeutic goals.
Erika is in the process of completing the Clinical Trauma Professional I and II certification to continue building upon the trauma-informed care that she provides to her clients.
Erika is supervised by Christine Coyle, LCSW-C.
