Loss can look and feel differently to everyone. Whether you are grieving the loss of a loved one, job, relationship, or are supporting someone who is grieving, we seek to provide you with pragmatic tools and educational resources to help you navigate through the grief process.

October 26th, Week One: Grief 101

November 9th, Week Two: Grief and Loss in Children and Adolescence 

November 16th, Week Three: Experiencing Loss as a Couple 

November 23rd, Week Four: Navigating Special Days

Featured Speaker: Emily Young, LMSW

Emily received her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Maryland. Emily has worked as a Grief Counselor in a hospice setting providing therapy to children, teens, adults, and older adults. Emily has specific training from the Center of Complicated Grief and specializes in working with clients who have experienced traumatic losses of a loved one from suicide, substance abuse, homicide, and perinatal traumas. She believes that grief is not pathological and that everyone experiences the grief process differently, and on their own timelines.
